December 31, 2006 My-Mar Dunvegin ranked in the top 10 nationally for 2006!!! Today, we received notification by the WPCSA that Dunvegin received a national ranking this year, he is currently ranked 9th nationally, and 4th in the SE US; a huge accomplishment for a young stallion who did not arrive from Canada until last March and was shown very limited in his first year. Our goal next show season is to continue to campaign this nice young stallion. We are reasonably confidant we will see Dunvegin in the top FIVE nationally next year, which is certain to make his foals more valuable.
December 25, 2007 MERRY CHRISTMAS! Congratulations to Alana Kaible and Amanda Casesse on their Christmas surprises...both girls received WONDERFUL horses for Christmas. Alana was gifted a forever friend in the FABULOUS Teak, and Amanda received Brittany's home grown colt, Kasteel. The Casesses ALSO purchased the infamous Roxy. Leah Colucci received a new Beval saddle, and Tara received a new Prestige Dressage saddle for Christmas. Brittany got sticks and coal. Congratulations to everyone and for many future successes!
December 18, 19, 20 Our 3-Day Clinic with Robert C. Braren and HA Rated Pony Club Graduate, Jamie Price was a HUGE success! Our opening ceremony for our new Cross Country Course featured a 3-day eventing clinic hosted by Hunter's Sound Stable and Buckingham Pony Club. We had great participation for our clinic and we plan to host more "home" clinics in the near future. It was a great learning opportunity for all! Thanks to all those who participated, and to BIll Smith and Jim Pledger for their assistance with design and construction of our fabulous new course.

Buckingham Pony Club Takes Titles
Congratulations to our awesome Buckingham Pony Club Quiz Kids! All of our members received FIRST PLACE blue ribbons at the Quiz Rally held this weekend at Grand Cypress Equestrian Center. Quiz Rally is a regional competition which tests knowledge about horses, horse care, safety, and riding discipline rules.
Our Junior D Team with Captain Leah Colucci, Kelly Wise, Kari Means and a scrambler Allison Thriffiley from Live Oak Hounds took FIRST PLACE in Junior D, Section 1 (against 3 other teams), with a score of 587.5 -- more than ANY other team! Kari Means received a PERFECT SCORE on her
written test!
Senior D Team "Live Bucking Fox" which included Amber Goldsmith along with Susan Rumble from Live Oak Hounds, and Joy McLendon and Mary Hicks from Sea Fox received FIRST PLACE in their division against five other teams.
We will know in a couple weeks if our members qualified for the region's Championship team. Scoring has to be recalculated on an individual basis to determine qualification for Championship.
A big THANK YOU to all from BPC who attended and volunteered... Carol and Alana Kaible, Ray and Lori Colucci, Janet Means and Nancy Wise.Buckingham Pony Club was responsible for the stations phase of the rally (which are hands-on activities the kids do as a team) and I must
say, we did a great job and had a fun time doing it. We also enjoyed the Arabian Nights Show Saturday night and learned a lot at the Horse Management clinic Saturday.
Thanks also to our Jt-DC Gemini Brittany Pledger who not only let us borrow a lot of her gear for the rally stations, but also has taught our kids well all along the way, even before we had Pony Club. The feedback from the kids is that a lot of the questions were not from the books, and they knew the answers because of their experiences at Hunter's Sound Stable. THANK YOU Brittany for all you do for Pony
Club!!!

August 5, 2006 Linda Konst Clinic, Seafox Pony Club
James and Kelly represented Hunter's Sound and attended with Buckingham Pony Club. Linda, as always was amazing! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Our hosts, the Jacquith family, were wonderful, and every PC member who attended gained a wealth of useful information...Linda worked with each rider to help them find their center of balance using Tai Chi and other balancing exercises. The cross country field was a real treat for our riders and a nice change of pace for our Show ring hunters and jumpers, who seemed to enjoy the natural fences-even the ugly ones!
